General Description:

Anjeka-6061 is a polymer containing amide groups, which is mainly used for dispersing inorganic pigments, organic pigments and carbon blacks in solvent-borne and solvent-free coating systems and printing ink systems, especially for heavy anti-corrosion coatings.

The additive unflocates and stabilizes the pigments by means of spatial resistance. Due to the small size of the deflocculated pigment particles, multicolor systems are free of color float and bloom. This results in increased gloss, color strength, transparency, and hiding power.

The amount of additives (in purchased form) is based on the pigment:

Inorganic pigments: 1%-2%

Titanium dioxide: 0.5%-1%

Organic pigments: 1%-5%

Carbon black: 30%-60

The above data are empirical, the optimum amount should be determined through a series of tests.
